Social Facilities Branch Directorate
The following services are carried out in the apartment as Social Services:
a) To provide the necessary services to meet the basic needs of students such as housing, nutrition, scholarships and loans, to ensure the better execution of the service by cooperating with the organizations providing these services and to strive for the best service of the dormitory canteens and cafeterias,
b) To open reading rooms with books and periodicals containing various subjects, to help students to acquire knowledge according to their interests, to acquire new interests and to encourage them to evaluate their free time by reading,
c) To establish recreational facilities or camping places for students and employees for semester and summer holidays or to ensure that the service is seen by agreeing with the organizations operating in this regard.
d) To ensure that students and employees are provided with transportation services or to ensure that the service is carried out in the best Jul-ture by agreeing with the organizations operating in this regard,
e) To establish nurseries, nests and similar units to assist in the care and education of preschool and school-age children of university employees during working hours, and to ensure that the service is seen in the best possible way by cooperating with relevant organizations on this issue.
Social Facilities
It ensures that the services at the facility are carried out in accordance with the Operating Procedures and Principles of Social Facilities within the Scope of the Mersin University Corporate Tax Law, as well as the Decisions of the Executive Board and the instructions of the Operating Authority, without any disruption or delay,
Responsible for the management, organization, organization, order and cleanliness of the facilities,
By making the determination of the goods needed by the facilities, it takes the necessary measures in time to be put into service,
Buildings, goods, machinery, equipment, fixtures, devices, etc. in the facilities. it is responsible for the maintenance, repair, cleaning, protection, storage and ready-to-use storage of fixed assets,
It is responsible for the regular and efficient work of the people working at the facility, constantly monitors and evaluates the performance of the employees, investigates the causes of this if there is a low productivity and takes the necessary measures,
Attaches importance to quality and efficiency in the production of goods and services, conducts the necessary examinations, research and studies to carry out the work in the facilities more healthily and efficiently and to improve the quality of the service, transmits the situation and recommendations to the operating authority,
Calculates the detailed preliminary cost of the goods and services produced in the facilities and presents them to the executive board and the operating authority,
It keeps and tracks the stock movements and income-expenses of the first item-materials and finished goods in the facilities in a computer environment,
Giving hourly permits to unit personnel,
To carry out other works and transactions to be given by the Head of the Department and the Operating Authority,
He is responsible to the Head of the Department and the Operating Authority for the use of the assigned duties and powers.
To work in accordance with the quality management system and to ensure that the units affiliated to it work in accordance with the quality management system.
